Please check out this beautiful Antique 18th 19th century Buddist Thai illuminated painting from a folding manuscript or Samut Khoi.
Painted by monks with mineral pigments including a vibrant gold in this painting.  Scene has wonderful detail of musicians. Has wear to bottom right figure, corner clouds and slightly worn manuscript crease at center.  Painting measures approx. 33” High x 18” Wide, and is in good vintage condition. The piece is housed in a beautiful gold gold frame with an off white linen mat border that measures 37.38” High x 23.38” Wide x 1”Deep, and is in good vintage condition, is showing a small area of chipped paint on the bottom left corner. THIS PIECE WILL BE SHIPPED WITHOUT GLASS. ( See Photos )
